Introducing the New Advanced Search Module for Divi Estate

Today we are excited to introduce one of Divi Estate’s most anticipated feature ever. It’s a new module for searching properties. We have been asked many times to provide Advanced Search with dropdown settings, and here it is!

Divi Estate theme is a great choice for building a real estate website using Divi. It comes with 10 custom modules that will help you displaying properties, agents, regions, and easily add the search functionality. The one-click demo import will get you up and running in no time. You can install all the demo pages in minutes!

In the new Divi Estate version, we have fixed a bunch of minor issues, like Theme Builder compatibility, property layout issues, overlapping header issue and more. We have added a new feature allowing to disable sticky agent on a single property page, improved popups performance, and finally added a brand new module: Advanced Search Bar. This module allows searching for properties by selecting criteria from dropdowns.

New Search Bar Module

We’ve been working hard to provide a new searching properties experience. Finally, we’ve built a module that will allow displaying Search Bar with criteria selected in the module settings. We can enable/disable 5 options to be displayed within the module: Property Status, Property Type, Region, No of Bedrooms and No of Bathrooms.

This new homepage comes with 7 sections: Hero image with Search Bar module and icons, Blurb section with custom hover animations, featured properties slider, testimonial slider, agents section, features section with a centred image and sign up form. Fixes and improvements

Divi theme by Elegant Themes is evolving every day. Each theme update brings the new features but it can also affect some 3rd party plugins and themes. We are committed to test and make sure our theme is compatible with the latest Divi version.

In this Divi Estate update, we have addressed several issues that came out after Divi updates and made some improvements to the current functionality. For better accessibility, we have renamed modules, so they are listed together in the Divi Builder.

We have improved Divi Estate popups performance. They do not go below the popup overlay after the close button is clicked so the user experience is now better.

After Divi 4 we had to improve Theme Builder compatibility, and in this release, we made even more significant changes to our theme code to make sure that websites where Theme Builder header, footer or any other templates are used, won’t have any issue with displaying on front-end.

These are the most noteworthy changes in this update. You can access the full change log in the DiviEstate Documentation, which we’ve also updated!

No child theme is a finished product, ever. We update our products to adapt to the changing Divi environment and our customers’ expectations. If you notice any problems with DiviEstate 1.8 or would like us to add another feature, let us know and we’ll work on it!  And if you don’t have DiviEstate yet, you can get it at a special discount.

      Hi Raphael,

We have already considered doing that, but there is so many IDX/MLS plugins available and all of them has their own shortcodes to display property listings, agents etc.

I don’t think if we could integrate any of the custom Divi Estate modules with 3rd party IDX plugin. We could maybe add some styling for most common IDX systems, that’s all.
